The cave’s most famous feature is a pair of enormous natural openings in the ceiling that resemble giant eyes looking down from above. Known locally as the Eyes of God, these natural formations create a truly unforgettable sight.

During rainy weather, water flows from the corners of the openings, creating the illusion of tears running from the eyes, making the scene even more dramatic and magical.

Prohodna Cave is one of the largest and most accessible caves in Bulgaria. Formed as a natural rock tunnel, it stretches for approximately 262 metres and features two impressive entrances.

Visitors enter through a smaller opening about 35 metres high and follow a scenic path through the cave to the larger entrance, where they can admire the highest cave vault in Bulgaria, reaching an impressive height of 45 metres.
