TURKEY: ISTANBUL – 2 DAYS (IN THE MORNING – every Wednesday & Sunday)

1st DAY

04:00   Departure from Sunny Beach.

12:00   Arrival in Istanbul. Lunch.

13:00   Walking tour and sightseeing tour by bus “Two continents” ( about 4 hours): Walking tour with a visit of the Byzantine Hippodrome that has preserved monuments dated to various historical periods and the “Sultan Ahmet” (Blue) Mosque – the biggest mosque in the country, famous for its elegant minarets and exquisite interior. Sightseeing tour by bus “Two continents”: alongside the Topkapi palace (residence of the Ottoman Sultans, the biggest and oldest palace that has been preserved in the world, now it exists as one of Istanbul’s premier museums); the museum of Hagia Sophia church (or Aya Sofya) (a UNESCO-listed museum that showcases Ottoman- and Byzantine-era artefacts); the Spice’s Bazaar /Egyptian Bazaar/; the tower Galata, the Dolmabahche palace; the Bulgarian Iron Church Saint Stefan – constructed near the Golden Horn, is the only one of its kind in the world; entering in to the Asia via the Bosphorus Bridge, stop for a photo at a place with a beautiful view towards Istanbul and Bosphorus. Visit of a factory for leather products.

or: 19:30 Optional tour “GAR music hall”: 30 euro per person; the price includes dinner (starter, season salad, main dish (chicken fillet or fish or meat balls), dessert, 2 beverages), folklore show, oriental and  belly dances.

or: 20:00 Optional tour “Bosphorus cruise by night”: 40 euro per person; the price includes dinner (starter, season salad, main dish, dessert, unlimited Turkish beverages), folklore show, oriental and belly dances.

2nd DAY

07:00   Breakfast. Check out the hotel – leaving the luggage at a storage place. Free time or:

08:00 Optional tour “The Topkapi palace and the Saint Sophia Basilica” (a UNESCO-listed museum): 45 euro  per person for a group of minimum 20 tourists; the price includes transfer, entrance fees for the Topkapi palace (without harem) and for the Saint Sophia Basilica, licensed local guide/ about 4 hours.

12:00     Possibility for lunch – extra payment 12 euro per person (a buffet by a group of minimum 20 tourists).

Free time or:

13:30     Optional tour “Bosphorus trip”: 25 euro per person for a group of minimum 20 tourist (the price includes transfer, motor boat trip, licensed local guide; about 4 hours): a romantic motor boat cruise along the European and Asian coasts of Bosphorus; free time for shopping in the Spice’s Bazaar /Egyptian Bazaar/, offering abundance of Oriental goods and mystical smells of different aromas of various spices.

17:30   Departure to Bulgaria and arrival in Sunny Beach after midnight.

The price includes: transport with A/C bus, 1overnight in a 3/4* hotel in Istanbul, 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, walking tour, sightseeing tour by bus „Two continents“ and guide.

The price does not include: visa costs*, supplement for single room – 30 leva; optional tours; lunch on the 2nd day – 12 euro; personal expenses.

* REMARK:  According the visa regime of the Republic of Turkey the tourists of different nationalities travel to Turkey without entry visa or with pre-issued electronic entry visa for Turkey. The tourists from non-EU countries must have also a valid Bulgarian or Shengen visa for two- or multiple entrances to be able to return back to Bulgaria.
